- Open the EPDS Telangana portalGo to epds.telangana.gov.in/FoodSecurityAct on your phone or a computer. It is the Civil Supplies Department portal for Food Security Cards.
- Choose FSC Search and then Ration Card SearchThe FSC Search menu sits on the home page. Inside it, pick Ration Card Search. If the menu looks different, look for the word FSC.
- Select the search type and districtPick FSC search if you have the card number, or use the application reference number or old ration card number. Then select your district from the list.
- Type the number and press SearchType the number exactly as printed, without spaces, and press Search. The family record opens below the form.
- Keep a PDF copyTap the share or print menu on the phone, pick PDF as the printer and name the file after your FSC number.

For a ration card download Telangana families use the FSC Search on the EPDS Telangana portal of the Civil Supplies Department, where typing the Food Security Card number with your district brings up the full family record. The page shows each member, the fair price shop and whether the card is active, and you can save that page as a PDF on your phone.

Ration card download Telangana: what the portal really gives you
Many families expect a signed e-card file with a photo. The EPDS Telangana portal does not hand out such a file. What it shows is the official record of your Food Security Card: card number, head of family, every member, the shop number and the card status. When you print that page to PDF, you have a clean copy of your card details for school forms, scheme applications or a MeeSeva counter.
The photo version people search for as TS ration card download with photo is a different thing. The new smart ration cards are printed by the department and handed to families. You cannot print one yourself from the portal.

Smart ration card Telangana: the new plastic cards
The state has started giving out new smart ration cards with a QR code to existing and newly approved families. These are distributed through the local system, usually handed over at the shop itself or at a local camp, and the dealer or ward staff will tell you the day. There is no step on the portal to download the smart card itself.
Your FSC number stays the same on the new card, so the portal search keeps working.
TG ration card download through MeeSeva
If the portal will not open on your phone, a MeeSeva centre can do the same FSC search and print the page for you. Carry the card number or the old card, and the card holder's Aadhaar. Centres usually collect a modest print charge. The MeeSeva Telangana portal lists services and centres.

Telangana ration card types in short
Telangana issues Food Security Cards to eligible families. Some come under the National Food Security Act and some are state food security cards. Antyodaya Anna Yojana cards go to the poorest households. In daily talk most people call any of these the white ration card, because the older paper cards were white. Can I check EPDS Telangana ration card status by Aadhaar number?
The FSC search on EPDS Telangana works with the FSC number, the application reference number or the old card number. With just an Aadhaar in hand, ask the ration dealer or a MeeSeva operator to look up the card number. Then use the status guide.
Is a TS ration card download PDF valid as a document?
It is a printout of the official record, so most offices accept it as proof that your card exists. Some offices still want the original card or the smart card. Ask the office before you go.
How do I do a smart ration card download in Telangana?
You cannot. The smart card is printed by the department and given to families. Online you can only view and save the card details page.
Can I download my FSC card with my mobile number?
The portal search does not ask for a mobile number. Use the FSC number or the old card number. A mobile number linked with Aadhaar helps for other services like MeeSeva.
What is a dormant ration card in Telangana?
A card where the family has not drawn ration for some months may be marked inactive or dormant. Visit your ration shop and the Civil Supplies office to restart it. Completing eKYC for all members is usually asked first.
