A ration card Haryana download is done on the state HEPDS portal of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, and the number you type there is your Family ID, also called the Parivar Pehchan Patra or PPP. Once the OTP reaches the mobile linked with that Family ID, the card details open on screen and you can save or print them.
Haryana works differently from most states. Your card is tied to the family record held in the Family ID system, so the card type, the members and even whether you get a card at all follow that record. How the Family ID decides your ration card Haryana
In most states a family fills a ration card form and an inspector checks it. Haryana takes a different path. The Family ID, or Parivar Pehchan Patra, holds the details of every member and the family income after it is verified. The food department reads that data. When the verified income falls in the BPL range, the family gets a BPL card without a separate form. When the verified income rises above the range, the BPL card can be removed in the same automatic way.
So when something is wrong on your card, the fix nearly always starts in the Family ID record, not on the food portal. Wrong member, wrong income, missing child, old mobile number: all of these are corrected in the family record at the Meri Parivar portal, through a CSC operator or the Atal Seva Kendra counter.
Before you start the download
- Family ID number. It is on the Parivar Pehchan Patra card or the slip given when the family registered. If you have lost it, the Meri Parivar portal has a find option using the Aadhaar of a member.
- The phone tied to the Family ID. Haryana sends the OTP solely to the number held in the family record, never to one you pick. Keep that phone in hand.
- Some free space on the phone. The page may offer a print or save option. A PDF reader helps you open it later.
HEPDS and SMART-PDS: which site does what
Haryana food services are moving to the SMART-PDS system. You will see two addresses from the department:
- HEPDS at epds.haryanafood.gov.in is the citizen side, where you search and view your card. When people talk about the EPDS Haryana ration card download, or an EPDS ration card search, this is the site they mean.
- epos.haryanafood.gov.in is the ePoS and distribution side used by depots, with reports on sales and stock.
Both are JavaScript apps. If you see a blank white page with a short message, the app has not loaded yet. Wait a few seconds or reload. Menu names shown in older videos and blogs may not match what you see now, so look for words like ration card, search or citizen. The department home page at haryanafood.gov.in carries notices when links move.

eKYC for Haryana ration card holders
Every member on an NFSA card needs Aadhaar eKYC. In Haryana the depot dealer records it by scanning each person's finger on his point of sale device. Take the Aadhaar of each member who has not done it. Children whose fingerprints do not match may need an Aadhaar biometric update first at an Aadhaar centre. New ration card and changes in Haryana
Many people search for how to apply for a new ration card in Haryana. There is no separate BPL form to fill. Your family needs to be on the Family ID with every member listed and the income verified. If the family qualifies, the card is generated from that data. For corrections such as a new member after a birth or marriage, update the Family ID and give the system time to sync. Complaints about wrong income go to the Family ID grievance system, which you can reach from the Meri Parivar portal.

Can a Haryana card be downloaded with just the Aadhaar card?
The Haryana card search works with the Family ID, not the Aadhaar number directly. If you do not remember the Family ID, find it on the Meri Parivar portal using a member's Aadhaar, then follow our Family ID download steps.
Is there a ration card download Haryana PDF?
The portal shows your card details and usually gives a print or save option. Saving the print view as a PDF on the phone gives you a copy to keep. The depot dealer can also check your card on the ePoS machine.
Is there a Haryana new ration card form to apply with?
There is no separate BPL application. Register or update your family in the Family ID system and get the income verified. If the verified data puts you in the BPL range, the system creates the card by itself. Read the Haryana BPL card page for details.
What is a gulabi ration card in Haryana?
Gulabi means pink, and people use colour names for card categories. The portal shows the category in words, such as AAY or BPL. Check your category on the status page instead of going by colour.
Where do I do ration card eKYC in Haryana?
At your ration depot on the ePoS machine, with each member's fingerprint and Aadhaar. It is free. Family members away for work outside Haryana may complete it at a depot where they stay, under One Nation One Ration Card.
Can I use the Mera Ration app for a Haryana card?
