For an AP ration card download, open the RC Details search on the AePDS site of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Department, type your rice card number, and the page lists your family, the eKYC position of each member and recent ration transactions. Printed on paper or stored as a PDF, it gives the family a working copy of its card record.

E ration card download AP: what you actually get
The AePDS page is a record view, not a signed card file. It shows the rice card number, the head of family, every member with their eKYC position, the fair price shop and the ration taken in recent months. That printout is enough for most forms that only ask for proof of the rice card.
The new smart rice card is the physical card. It has a QR code and a family photo and is given by the department. A search for AP smart ration card download will not turn up an official file you can print yourself, and we could not confirm any such route.

AP ration card download PDF by Aadhaar number
Many families do not remember the rice card number, and the ration card status AP with Aadhaar number search is what they look for. Where the AePDS search offers Aadhaar, you can type any member's Aadhaar and the linked rice card opens. If it does not, ask the ration dealer, who can pull up the card after a fingerprint scan on the ePoS device, or the digital assistant at your village or ward secretariat.
Smart rice cards: collecting and checking
The department has been giving new QR coded smart rice cards to families free of charge, in phases, through ration shops with help from secretariat staff. When your turn comes, the volunteer or shop announces the place. Carry your old rice card along with Aadhaar of the main card holder.
Check name spellings, photo and member list on the spot. Corrections are filed at the secretariat. Your rice card number stays the same, so the AePDS search keeps working.
Secretariat services for your rice card
Village and ward secretariats handle most rice card services: new card, member addition, member deletion, card split, address change and Aadhaar seeding fixes. These secretariats are being renamed Swarna Gramam and Swarna Wardu, and their online service portal is now AP Seva, which replaced the older secretariat site. The digital assistant at the secretariat can file the request for you and give a service request number.
Using an app for the AP rice card
We could not confirm a separate state app for an AP ration card download. For NFSA cards, the central Mera Ration app lets you see members, monthly quota and past lifts on your phone, which is handy for a quick look. Install it only from your phone's app store and check that the publisher is the government.

How to download ration card in AP with Aadhaar number?
Use the RC Details search on AePDS. If an Aadhaar option is offered, enter a member's Aadhaar. Otherwise get your rice card number from the dealer or secretariat first.
Is the AP ration card download PDF accepted at offices?
It is a copy of the department record, and most offices accept it with the original card. Some want the smart rice card itself.
