Quick steps
- Open the e-Services pageType the new Ahara address in the browser and tap e-Services. Links that still say kar.nic.in are dead ends.
- Choose a list typeFor a village view, tap Show Village list under e-Ration Card. For a shop view, tap Show RC list under e-Fair Price Shop.
- Select district and talukPick your district from the drop down, then the taluk. Some screens ask for the region first, the same three as other Ahara services.
- Pick the village or the shopSelect your village, or the fair price shop that serves you. The shop name and number are also printed on your card.
- Search the list for your nameLong lists are easier with the browser's Find tool: type part of the family head's name, then copy the RC number in that row.
Open Ahara e-Services, KarnatakaOfficial site, opens in a new tab
The Karnataka ration card list village wise is published on Ahara e-Services through two links: Show Village list in the e-Ration Card box, and Show RC list in the e-Fair Price Shop box. Pick your district, then the taluk, then the village or the shop, and the page lists every card attached there with the head of family's name and card type.
This is the fastest way to find a lost RC number when you remember the village but not the digits, or to confirm that a card still exists. The same e-Services page also has a Show Cancelled / Suspended list for checking whether a card was dropped. All other Karnataka tasks are listed on our Karnataka ration card main page.

Karnataka ration card list village wise or shop wise?
Both lists draw from the same database but are cut differently. Show Village list is useful in rural areas where one village has one or two shops. Show RC list under e-Fair Price Shop suits towns and cities, where a single ward can have several shops and the village name means little. If you do not know your shop, open Show FPS or Show FPS Taluka list first; they list every shop in a taluk with its number and dealer name.
What the Ahara ration card list shows
| Column | Use it for |
|---|---|
| RC number | Downloading the card or checking status |
| Name of head of family | Finding your household quickly |
| Card type | Seeing if the card is PHH, AAY or NPHH |
| Number of members | Spotting a missing or extra member |
| Shop details | Knowing where to collect ration |
The two lists label their columns slightly differently. If members are missing, the list will not show their names; open Show Ration Card with the RC number for the full family.
Ration card download Karnataka village wise
The village list itself is a web page, not a PDF. To keep a copy, choose Print in the browser and pick the PDF printer. For your own family's printable card, note the RC number and then open Show Ration Card with an OTP. The full download walk through is on our Karnataka download hub.
Name not in the Karnataka list?
- Wrong village or shop selected. Families who moved may still be attached to the old shop. Try the previous village.
- Card cancelled or suspended. The dropped cards sit on a separate cancelled and suspended page. Reasons usually include no ration drawn for months or incomplete eKYC.
- Card still under approval. New cards appear only after approval. Check the acknowledgement on our Karnataka status guide.
- Name spelt differently. Search part of the name, or the father's name.
Using the list to fix your record
Once you have found the card, check the member count. A missing newborn or a member who died years ago still on the card is common. Each can be set right by following our Karnataka correction guide. If the card type looks wrong, read our BPL card page before visiting the taluk office.
Lists for other states
Ahara lists only cover Karnataka. Families with relatives in other states can use our state wise ration card list guide, which links each state's village and shop lists. Remember that no list on any official site asks for money to view, so ignore pages that offer a paid list download.
Questions people ask
What happened to the ahara kar nic in ration card list?
That domain was retired, so its list pages give an error. The same lists now load from the e-Services section of the new Ahara site.
Can I find my RC number from the village list?
Yes. Look for the family head in your village or shop list; the RC number sits in the same row.
Do I need an OTP to see the list?
No. The village and shop lists are public. Only Show Ration Card, which shows full member details, asks for an OTP.
Is there a new BPL list for Karnataka?
There is no separate BPL list page. The village and shop lists show the card type in each row, so you can see which cards are PHH or AAY.
Why does my village not appear in the drop down?
You may have picked the wrong taluk or region. Some villages are listed under the shop's village name instead. Try the shop list instead.
