Ration card ekyc Karnataka app: is there one?
The Ahara portal does not list a Karnataka app that does ration eKYC by itself. Videos promoting unknown apps for this are risky, as they may collect Aadhaar details. In some states, the central face based eKYC app run through the national food portal is used; confirm with the dealer or the taluk food office whether Karnataka accepts it for your card before you try it. Meanwhile, the shop scan remains the standard route.
Members living away from home
A son working in another city or a daughter studying elsewhere does not have to travel back. Under One Nation One Ration Card, a member can finish the Aadhaar check at a ration shop where they live, including in another state, if the card is NFSA (PHH or AAY).
