Quick steps
- Visit epos.punjab.gov.inOpen the AePDS Punjab site. It opens fine on mobile, but the tables are wide, so turn the phone sideways.
- Go to Reports, Beneficiary DetailsInside Reports, tap Beneficiary Details. This is the main card status page for citizens.
- Type the SRC number and choose the periodEnter the smart ration card number from your card, then select the month and the year from the drop down lists.
- Check the members and quantitiesSee whether every family member is listed and how much grain was recorded for that month.
- Cross check drawal if neededIf you did not get grain but the page shows it as drawn, open RC Drawl Status and note the date and shop. Take this to the inspector.
A ration card online check Punjab families can do in a minute is the Beneficiary Details report on epos.punjab.gov.in: enter the SRC number of your smart card, pick a month, and the page lists the members and the wheat taken against the card. If names show and the drawal is recorded, your card is live.

The live page may word these a little differently. If the page is empty for a month, try a month when you know you took ration.
Smart ration card status check online for eKYC
Punjab made eKYC compulsory, and members without it risk losing their share. The ePoS portal has an ONORC report that leads to an eKYC page, and the depot dealer can show each member's eKYC on the machine. If a member is not done, take that person with Aadhaar to any depot with an ePoS machine. Fingerprint not matching? Update Aadhaar biometrics first. More on this in our eKYC guide.
ERCMS ration card status and the food supply site
The department also runs a card system called ERCMS (ercms.punjab.gov.in) for card management and reports, and its own home page at foodsuppb.gov.in. ERCMS is where online card services and applications are tracked, but it shows a maintenance page at times. When it is down, the ePoS Beneficiary Details report is the dependable way to see a live card.
Card cancelled or names cut in a verification drive
Punjab has carried out large re-verification drives, and districts have cancelled smart cards found ineligible. If your card stops working, first check Beneficiary Details. If the card or a member has gone, visit the area food inspector or the Sewa Kendra with Aadhaar of all members, the smart card and any income or residence proof. Ask in writing why the card was removed and what proof will restore it. There is no outcome we can promise, but a clear file helps.
