- Open the ration card reportLook for the public reports area and the ration card details report. If the label is different, any report named for ration cards is the right one.
- Pick the districtChoose your district, for example Ludhiana, Amritsar or Bathinda.
- Pick the inspector areaPunjab groups depots under food inspectors. Select the inspector circle covering your locality.
- Open your depot and searchSelect the fair price shop, then use find in page to search for the family head and note the SRC number.
The ration card list Punjab publishes sits in the public reports of ERCMS, the food department's ration card management system: you pick the district, then the inspector area, then the fair price shop, and the report shows the smart cards tagged to that depot. No login or OTP is needed to read it.
Families use it to confirm that their card is still on the depot roll, to find a forgotten SRC number, or to check a relative's card in the home village. To see your own card's members and monthly drawal, the Punjab status check is quicker. All services are on the Punjab ration card hub.

ERCMS Punjab ration card list and the ePoS reports
Punjab runs two public sets of reports. The ERCMS site, ercms.punjab.gov.in, holds the card roll by area. On the AePDS side, epos.punjab.gov.in keeps transaction reports such as Beneficiary Details and RC Drawl Status, which need an SRC number. Use the ERCMS list when you know only the name, then the ePoS report once you have the number. People sometimes call these the EPDS Punjab ration card list; it is the same data.
Tips for searching a big list on mobile
- Names may be spelt in English the way an operator heard them. Try Gurpreet, Gurpareet and Gurprit.
- If the family head has a very common name, try the name of the father or husband.
- If the page is wide, turn the phone sideways or use the desktop view in your browser.
- Keep a PDF copy once so you can search it without data later.
Your name is not in the Punjab list
Punjab has run re-verification drives in which ineligible smart cards were cancelled. A card can also drop off when no member has done eKYC, or when the family shifted to another depot. Steps to take:
- Search other depots in the same inspector area in case your card was moved.
- Ask the dealer to search your Aadhaar on the ePoS machine.
- If the card is gone, go to the area food inspector carrying Aadhaar of all members and the smart card.
- If you need a fresh card, the Punjab application guide explains the Sewa Kendra route.
When the report will not open
| What happens | Reason | Try |
|---|---|---|
| Maintenance page | ERCMS under upgrade | Come back after a day, or use the NFSA link for Punjab |
| Report keeps loading | Large district data on slow network | Use wifi or try early morning |
| Depot missing from list | Shop merged or relicensed | Ask the inspector for the new depot name |
Our national list guide covers the route for every other state.

Smart cards are NFSA cards, and the list shows the category of each card. A separate state BPL list for ration is not published there.
