Bihar ration card status check with the RC number
The quickest check uses your ration card number, and the result is the RC details ration card Bihar online check most people want. Bihar keeps a card search page on EPDS, and the easiest way to reach it is through the RTPS service portal, because the link there is kept current even when EPDS menus change.
Type the number with all its digits. Many Bihar card numbers are long, and one missed digit returns a blank page. If you only have an old paper card with a handwritten number, the dealer can give you the current number from the machine slip.
Ration card Bihar online check without the number
If the number is lost, go by place. On EPDS Bihar open the RCMS Report, pick your district, then rural or urban, then block, panchayat and village. Every dealer in the village is listed. Tap your shop and scan the rows for the family head.

Ration card status Bihar by mobile number
Bihar does not offer a public search box where you type only a mobile number and see the card. The mobile number works as a login on the RC online system, where an OTP opens your account and shows the applications you made from it.
So if your card was made through an online application, log in with that same number. If it was made on paper years ago, the mobile route will not help, and the RC number or village report is the way.
Checking at the shop when the site is down
EPDS and the RC online system go down quite often. The department's server is the same one your dealer's ePoS machine talks to, but the machine usually keeps working when the website does not.
Ask the dealer to authenticate any member's thumb. The slip prints the card number, the members and the month's quantity. That is proof your card is active. You can also install the Mera Ration app and search with Aadhaar. If both fail, the RTPS counter at the block can look it up for you.
RTPS ration card status and when to use it
People often type RTPS ration card status when they mean an application, not a card. RTPS is the right-to-services system where block counters register new card and correction requests and give you a reference number.
