Quick steps
- Load EPDS BiharOpen epds.bihar.gov.in in your browser. If it times out, wait a while and reload rather than using an unknown copy site.
- Open RCMS, then RCMS ReportThe report menu is usually near the top. It opens a state table where each district shows its card numbers.
- Select the district rowThe district row splits into rural and urban figures. Villagers tap the rural figure; town residents tap the urban one.
- Choose block and panchayatPick the block, then your gram panchayat or urban ward. Each level shows category wise counts.
- Open the village and the dealerTap your village. The fair price shops of that village appear. Tap the dealer where your family lifts grain.
- Look for your head of familyScroll the card list. Most names appear in capital Roman letters. Note the RC number beside your family.
The Bihar ration card list sits inside the RCMS report on the EPDS portal, and you reach your own village by tapping district, then block, panchayat, village and finally your dealer. The last screen shows every card tagged to that shop, listing each family head along with PHH or AAY.
No login is needed and nothing is charged. People use the list to confirm a newly approved card, to recover a forgotten RC number, or to see if a relative is still counted. For the full card page and how to save it, go to our Bihar ration card page.

Bihar ration card list district wise: how the report is built
The RCMS report is a drill down table. At each level you see numbers by card category, and each number is a link to the next level.
The district level is handy for officials who want totals, but families only need the last two screens. If your village has many dealers, ask a neighbour which shop your tola is attached to, since the list is split by dealer, not by street.
Columns in the dealer wise list
| Column | How to use it |
|---|---|
| RC number | Copy it down. It opens the card page and is needed at every office. |
| Name of head of family | Search here, not by your own name. Children and other members are inside the card. |
| Father or husband name | Helps when two families share a name. |
| Card type | PHH or AAY. Bihar has no separate state APL card. |
| Member count | Compare with your actual family size. |
Column titles change now and then, so read the headings on your screen if they differ from the ones above.
Ration card name list check Bihar for one member
The village list shows heads of family only. To check whether a particular member such as a new daughter in law is counted, open the card by tapping its number. The member page lists everyone with age and relation.
If the person is missing, they were never added or were removed during a review. To get them added, file a member request online or hand it in at the RTPS counter. The steps are in our Bihar apply online guide.
Ration card list download for Bihar
The report has no download button for a full village file. For a copy on your phone, load the dealer list fully, use the browser menu, pick Print and choose PDF as the destination. Long lists may spread over several pages, so scroll to the end before printing.
Not in the list: common reasons and fixes
| You notice | Likely reason | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Family not under any dealer | You opened the wrong panchayat or the card is with another shop | Ask your dealer for the RC number and open it with the RC number check |
| New card not visible | Application still pending or approved but not yet synced | Track it on our Bihar application status page |
| Spelling looks wrong | Name was typed from an old paper form | Request correction through the RTPS correction service |
| Page error or blank table | EPDS server busy | Try later, or ask the RTPS counter to open it |
Other ways to see the list
When epds.bihar.gov.in ration card list pages will not load, the NFSA page of state ration card portals links to the Bihar report too, and that link sometimes opens when the home page does not. The RTPS service portal also carries the card details search.
Offline, the dealer keeps a printed beneficiary register and the panchayat office often has the list from the last review. Families outside Bihar can follow our ration card list guide.
Questions people ask
How do I see the EPDS Bihar ration card list for my village?
Open the RCMS Report on EPDS and go district, block, panchayat, village and dealer. The final page lists every card under that dealer.
Is there a new Bihar ration card list after the recent approvals?
There is no separate new list. Approved cards are added into the same RCMS report under your dealer once the block office finalises them. Until yours appears, follow the file through the application tracker.
Can I search the Bihar list by Aadhaar number?
No, the village report works by place and name. For an Aadhaar based look up, use the Mera Ration app or the dealer's ePoS machine.
What is the RCMS Bihar ration card list?
RCMS stands for Ration Card Management System. Its report on EPDS is the official card list for the state, arranged by district and village.
Why does my village show zero cards?
Some villages are clubbed with a neighbouring revenue village or a ward. Try the other villages in the same panchayat, or ask the dealer which name the system uses.
