Your ration card application status Bihar check needs the reference code from your acknowledgement slip or sent by SMS, plus the date you applied. Enter both on the RTPS service portal under Citizen Section, or sign back in to the RC online system where you filed the form.

Track ration card application status Bihar on RTPS
Bihar treats a new ration card as a right to service request. Every application, whether typed by you or by a block operator, gets a reference number on the RTPS system, and that number is the key for tracking.
The tracking page needs the date too, so keep the slip safe. If you lost it, the RTPS counter where you applied can search with your name and mobile number and print it again.
Checking inside the RC online system
If you applied yourself on rconline.bihar.gov.in, log in using the mobile number you registered with. Your dashboard lists each request you made, such as a new card or member change, with its present stage.
Some government listings call this portal Jan Vitran Ann online, so a search for the Jan Vitran Ann online ration card application status Bihar leads to the same place. The login now goes through Meri Pehchaan in many cases, so expect an OTP.
What the stages usually mean

Labels differ slightly between RTPS and RC online. Read the remark column, since it often names the missing document.
RTPS new ration card status says approved but no card
Approval and the card showing in the list are two different steps. After approval the record has to be pushed to EPDS and tagged to a dealer. This can take some days.
Check your village and dealer in the RCMS report using our Bihar ration card list guide. When the card appears, grain can be lifted once every member has passed the thumb based Aadhaar check at the dealer.
If tracking does not open or shows nothing
- No record: check the reference number for a missed letter and use the date printed on the slip, not the day you paid at a centre.
- Site error: the Bihar servers get busy. Try after some hours, and type the address yourself.
- Stuck for weeks: take the acknowledgement to the block and ask the RTPS desk who is sitting on it.
- Rejected unfairly: RTPS has an appeal service listed on the same portal under other services.
Applying again or starting fresh

What is the ration card application status RTPS check?
It is the Track Application Status option on the RTPS service portal. You enter the reference number and date from your acknowledgement and see the stage of your file.
Can I check Bihar application status without the reference number?
The online tracker will not work without it. Where you applied on RC online, logging in shows your requests without it. Otherwise the RTPS counter can find it from your details.
The file has said pending for weeks. Whom do I meet?
Meet the block supply officer with the slip and ask at which desk it waits. Polite, regular follow up at the office works better than repeated online checks.
Where do I see the card once it is approved?

Does tracking cost anything?
No. Tracking on the RTPS portal and RC online is free. A cyber cafe may charge only for its own time.
