- Open RC DetailsFind RC Details in the reports or menu area. Some screens call it ration card details or RC search.
- Type the rice card numberEnter the number from your rice card or smart card. Do not add spaces. Submit the form.
- Look at the card and member rowsCheck that the card shows as active and that every family member is listed with eKYC completed.
- Scroll to the transaction historySee the months and quantities drawn. A missing month you did draw may mean a shop entry problem worth reporting.
The quickest AP ration card status check is the RC Details page of AePDS, run by the state's Civil Supplies Department: enter the rice card number and you see whether the card is working, each member's eKYC position and the ration lifted in recent months. Dealers use the same data on their ePoS machines.
People often mix up three different checks: the status of an existing rice card, the status of a new application, and the status of the smart rice card handout. Reading the AP ration card status check online result

Labels may change when the site is updated. Look for these ideas even if the words differ.
Why a rice card stops working
- No ration for many months: long gaps can lead to the card being marked inactive.
- eKYC pending: members who never gave a fingerprint or iris scan can be held.
- Verification results: household data checks may flag a family as above the limits.
- Duplicate entry: a member found on two cards is removed from one.
The page rarely states the reason. Go to the village or ward secretariat with the rice card and Aadhaar cards. The staff can see more than the public page.
Checking status without a smartphone
Your ration dealer can pull up the family record on the ePoS device after a thumb scan and tell you which members are fine. The secretariat's digital assistant can also check it. Many families find this easier than the website, especially when the site is busy in the first week of the month.
AP smart ration card status
The department is distributing the QR coded smart cards phase by phase, with secretariat staff helping at shops. There is no separate public tracker we could confirm for the smart card itself. If neighbours have received theirs and you have not, ask the dealer or the secretariat whether your card was printed and where it is held. Your rice card number does not change, so the RC Details check works with the old card too.
Status of a new rice card or a change you asked for
Requests filed at a village or ward secretariat get a service request number. You track that number on AP Seva, the secretariat services portal that replaced the old site. The steps and documents are in our AP apply online guide.

Is epos.ap.gov.in ration card status the same as AePDS?
People use both names for the Civil Supplies site that runs the shop machines and the RC Details search. Use the address aepos.ap.gov.in.
How to check ration card status in AP with Aadhaar?
If the search form offers Aadhaar, type a member's number. If not, ask the dealer or secretariat to look up your rice card number from Aadhaar.
Is a ration card online check in AP possible for a relative?
Yes, if you have their rice card number and they asked you to help. The search shows any card whose number is typed, so keep such numbers private.
Can I check ap civil supplies ration card status for another family?
The Civil Supplies Department publishes the RC Details search so that card holders can check their own household.
My status shows active but the dealer refuses ration. Why?
The member present may not have finished eKYC, or the shop stock may be short. Request the exact ePoS message from the dealer, then report it if needed.
